Our community is more than a place on a map. It is people, families, neighborhoods, stories, struggles, hopes and dreams. When we care for the people who live in our community, we are helping heal the community itself.
Our mission is simple: bless people where they are, when they need it, and sometimes when they least expect it.

Our approach
A different kind of outreach
Not every act of ministry needs to happen inside the walls of a church.
Sometimes ministry looks like showing up with a bag of groceries. Sometimes it looks like handing someone a warm coat on a cold day. Sometimes it looks like providing a meal, sharing a smile, giving someone something they did not expect, or simply reminding them that their community has not forgotten them.
Heal the Land Outreach is built around the belief that small acts of kindness can have a much larger impact than we may ever see.
We do not always know what someone is carrying. We do not always know what happened before we met them or what they may face after we leave. But we can choose to make the moment we share with them a little better.
How we serve
Blessing people in unexpected ways
Our outreach is not designed to follow a rigid schedule. We stay flexible enough to respond to opportunities as they come.
- Our team organizing a pop up outreach event and delivering food throughout the community.
- Unexpectedly providing warm clothing to someone who needs it.
- Finding creative ways to spread joy simply because we can.
- Doing something just for the joy of bringing people together.
Community nights
Sometimes ministry looks like a movie night
Imagine seeing a movie screen appear outside the church. Cars pull in. Families gather. Children laugh. People share food, conversation and smiles. For a few hours, the worries of everyday life can take a back seat.
We may host spontaneous movie nights at the church, indoors when appropriate or outdoors as an impromptu drive in experience. Because outreach is not always about solving a problem. Sometimes outreach is about creating a moment of joy, connection and belonging.
Out in the city
We go where the people are
Heal the Land Outreach is not about waiting for people to walk through our doors. It is about being willing to walk outside of them.
We want to discover opportunities to serve throughout our community and respond with compassion, creativity and generosity.
We may not always have a large budget. We may not always know exactly what we are going to do next. But we can always look for someone who could use a blessing.

People deserve to be seen
A community becomes stronger when its people know they are seen, valued and cared for.
Kindness interrupts hard days
One unexpected act of kindness can change the shape of somebody's whole week.
Generosity restores hope
What we give away has a way of reminding people that hope is still available to them.
Joy is ministry too
Laughter, food and belonging are holy things. Caring for people is how we serve God.
We do not have to change the whole world at once. Sometimes we simply need to make one person's world a little better.
